Let’s come together and sing from our hearts, celebrate life and enjoy the music!

We, Irene Sportel and Kevin Bromberg, are happy to welcome you to this December Singing Circle!

In the beautiful place called ‘De Ruimte’ – a hidden gem next to the Amstel river – we gather in a circle, drop ourselves into our hearts and from there our journey begins. A journey to remember our strength, peace, passion and celebrate the beauty of life!

Together with Kevin on percussion, I will guide you through a -down to earth & from the heart – experience of singing mantra’s and songs together. Through little meditations and singing mantra’s and songs we remember we are gifted with the power of our own voices and joy that lives inside your hearts.

Using instruments from all over the world – like tabla, handpan, Udu, framedrum, guitar, and more – we explore different rhythms and sounds and sing together from the heart. After singing, there is also room to feel the silence.

After the session there will be some tea and time to relax.

What are mantra’s?

Mantra’s are simply words that are repeated. Most of the mantra’s we sing during the Singing Circle are used for thousands of years already, come from India and Tibet, and have a great healing potential. The meaning of the words – to me- is not the most important thing. Instead of intellectually understanding the words, we encourage you to féél the vibration, the words and music instead. Feel what it does for you, your experience is the only thing that counts. And allow yourself to be surprised 🙂

For who is this event?

This event is for everyone. You don’t need to be a singer – at all. 🙂 Just come as yourself, be you and feel welcome exactly as you are.

What to bring?

Just you, your voice ánd perhaps a blanket to keep yourself comfy and warm. Cushions and yoga mats are provided at the location.
